Great news! Grants Support New and Expanding Programs at PRM!

The Kinder Morgan Foundation awarded the PRM Foundation a grant of $3,923 to support the Reflex and TouchMath math programs at PRM. Rolled out at PRM during the 2015-16 year, Reflex is an online software program that has proven to increase math fact fluency in a fun, engaging way. Because of its great success and this generous grant, PRM will now be able to offer the program for another year. The Kinder Morgan Foundation is also supporting TouchMath multisensory addition and subtraction materials for our teachers and intervention specialists to use with students. Thank you to the Kinder Morgan Foundation!

The Greater Cincinnati Foundation recently awarded PRM two Learning Links grants of $1,000 each. One grant will support “All-Day Learning – Every Minute, Every Child, Every Way.” Specifically, this grant supports Breakfast Brainiacs baskets of educational materials and activities for 4th-6th graders to start their school days. It also supports Accelerated Reader, an individualized reading program that encourages reading fluency and comprehension. The second grant, “Taking a Closer Look: Exploring the Outdoors,” provides materials, training and curriculum to allow for student-led investigations of our outdoor education spaces. Thank you to The Greater Cincinnati Foundation!
