SUMMARY:LSDMC Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Local School Decision Making Committee (LSDMC) is the primary governing body of our school and is composed of four major constituency groups; parents/guardians\, teachers\, non-teaching staff including the principal\, and community members.  \n\n\n\nEach group has equal representation and an equal voice in the decision-making process. The LSDMC sets goals\, develops a plan for meeting those goals\, and monitors progress toward goal attainment by conducting mid-year and end-of-year assessments. The LSDMC also makes school budget decisions\, submits changes in the school’s programing\, and when necessary participates in the selection of the principal. \n\n\n\nMeetings are open to the public and take place at PRM in the library.

DESCRIPTION:Join PRM Reading Specialist Sarah Kleymeyer for an evening designed to help parents better understand how our children learn to read and how we can support them along the way. \n\n\n\nWe’ll explore: \n\n\n\n\n📚 The Science of Reading — Learn the basics of how children learn to read and what effective reading supports at home look like.\n\n\n\n💬 Small-Group Work — Spend time working together\, asking questions\, and connecting with other PRM parents.\n\n\n\n📝 IEPs & 504 Plans — Get a high-level overview of what they are\, who they support\, and how they can help meet a child’s individual needs.\n\n\n\nThis will be a practical\, informative evening with opportunities to learn\, ask questions\, and leave with tools you can use to support your child.\n\n\n\n\nThe event will take place in the library\, enter at the back of school.  \n\n\n\nChildcare will be provided. \n\n\n\nScreenshot
