DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first Restaurant of the Month for this school year — How it works: Simply dine in or order takeout at High Grain anytime from 11 am to 10 pm on September 30\, and High Grain will donate 5% of all sales that day directly to the Pleasant Ridge School Foundation. No flyer\, no code\, no extra steps — just show up and enjoy a meal knowing you’re supporting our school. \n\n\n\nWhy it matters: Restaurant of the Month is one of the ways the Foundation raises funds for our general operating budget.  These “give back” nights are an easy\, low-effort way for our community to pitch in — you’re doing something you’d do anyway (eating!) while helping fund the programs that make PRM special.  \n\n\n\nWe’ll run a Restaurant of the Month event most months this year\, so if you can’t make this one\, don’t worry — more opportunities are coming. DESCRIPTION:The Local School Decision Making Committee (LSDMC) is the primary governing body of our school and is composed of four major constituency groups; parents/guardians\, teachers\, non-teaching staff including the principal\, and community members.  \n\n\n\nEach group has equal representation and an equal voice in the decision-making process. The LSDMC sets goals\, develops a plan for meeting those goals\, and monitors progress toward goal attainment by conducting mid-year and end-of-year assessments. The LSDMC also makes school budget decisions\, submits changes in the school’s programing\, and when necessary participates in the selection of the principal. \n\n\n\nMeetings are open to the public and take place at PRM in the library.
