Imago’s Nature Camps at PRM: The popular Nature Camps at PRM are back! This year includes a new camp for older campers. Spend the week of June 18th-22nd outdoors at PRM’s garden and naturescape with the camp leaders from Imago. Campers will explore, play games, work in the garden, make art, and have fun outdoors. Older campers (9-12) will take part in Imago’s popular Adventure Camp. Adventure Campers hop in a van and hike, kayak, and explore natural areas in our region. Camps for ages 4-14. Scholarship available. More information and registration at www.imagoearth.org or at (513) 921-5124.
Camp Invention: Camp Invention is where BIG ideas become the next BIG thing! In partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame, PRM is pleased to offer the nationally-acclaimed Camp Invention program to children entering grades K through 6th the week of June 11-15th from 9-3:30. It’s an exciting, week long summer adventure with lessons that explore connections between science, technology, engineering and innovation. Children will work together to seek solutions to real-world problems, turn ordinary into extraordinary and sharpen critical 21st century learning skills while rotating through several fascinating modules. For information, call 800.968.4332 or visit www.campinvention.org
Camp will be directed by William Thomure, contact him at [email protected] with any questions!
Art in the Garden: Join Miss Kate, our very own art teacher for art in the garden. This is a free art making event made possible by the Greater Cincinnati Foundation! Each week a nature based art project will be offered to kids and adults of all ages. Some works of art will remain in the school garden, while some days will include a make and take project. Our overall goal is to create memorable experiences, connect PRM community members, and beautify our garden space. You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you like, and come and go as it fits your schedule.
Meet us in the PRM garden behind the school! It is on Tuesday nights starting Tuesday June 5th and through Tuesday June 24th, from 5pm-7pm!
